There are no shortage of classy restaurants in Piemonte and the best quite often have prices to match but every now and then we stumble upon a gem that provides exceptional cucina without breaking the bank. Davide Odore is a talented chef and Io e Luna in Montebello a frazione of Guarene is a must for visitors to the region. As a guide Antipasti and Primi cost around €12, Secondi €16-22 and Dolci €8 but appetizers and petit fours are courses in themselves. The wine list is extensive and reasonably priced and as our last visit was for lunch we enjoyed an excellent Deltetto Arneis I am not going to describe the exquisite food but here are some photos that speak for themselves:
